    Description

    The J. B. Higbee Glass Co. introduced the Paneled Thistle (Delta/Canadian Thistle) pattern around 1914.
    The pattern became very popular and as early as the 1950s, the pattern was being reproduced by various companies.
    Offered here is a high-standard Paneled Thistle compote likely made by L. G. Wright.
    It is not marked with the Higbee “Bee” trademark.
    It measures about 8” in diameter and 7” high with a scalloped rim.
    The condition is very good with no cracks or chips.  It has only minor wear and common production flaws such as lines and bubbles.
    This is a great EAPG item with a highly collectible pattern.
