1901 DATED RARE 12 OZ STONEWARE JAR SHOWN BEING DUG IN OUR RECENT DIGGING VIDEO

Here's a rare little 12 ounce smallest size Weir stoneware fruit jar that Shovelin Shelley and I show being dug in one of our most recent Youtube digging videos...
NO.1 PAT MARCH 11 92 APRIL 16TH 1901
emb around top of original stoneware lid....jar itself has no embossing....White glazed pottery.....only 4 1/8"tall x 2 3/8"across top...sunken dimple on each side of neck where clamp would have been anchored, but it is missing.....a couple hairline cracks on neck & a hairline coming up from base, but jar displays great from the other side. A spot of rust stain. This was a Weir jar made by the Western Stoneware Co of Monmouth, Illinois. I measured it with water in a measuring cup and it holds 12 ounces, which is a scarce small size!  You can watch us dig this jar from the ground in a recent digging video
